Sri Tanjung Medicare (M) Sdn Bhd is a HRDF registered Training Provider. We provide training in First
Aid, BLS, CPR & ALS. Training can be done in Medilife Training Center, or ‘In-house’ in the Client’s
Office.
BLS Course
- Understand the importance of Automated External Defibrillator
(AED) to increase survival rate - Render First Aid Management for various injuries such as bleeding,
burn, shock, fracture, spinal injuries and etc - Become a Qualified First Aider & comply with legal provision:
Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 - Perform Basic Life Support Skill such as CPR & Choking
- Demonstrate ability to use advanced equipment such as Airway
adjuncts, Oxygen Therapy set, Bag- Valve-Mask (BVM), AED and KED.
ALS Course
- Outline priorities in patient assessment and management.
- Employ basic and advanced airway management techniques to secure and maintain a patent airway.
- Demonstrate effective ventilation using a bag-valve-mask device.
- Recognise and institute appropriate management for life threatening arrhythmias.
- Perform safe and effective defibrillation for appropriate arrhythmias.
- Identify, discuss and implement appropriate use of emergency drug therapy.
- Discuss the Adult ALS algorithm and demonstrate management of cardiac arrest according to the ALS algorithm.
NRP Course
- The Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP®) will help you learn the cognitive, technical, and teamwork skills that you need to resuscitate and stabilize newborns. Although most newborns make the cardiorespiratory transition to extrauterine life without intervention, many will require assistance to begin breathing and a small number will require extensive intervention.
- Assess a newborn for respiratory distress
- Perform effective airway management
- Demonstrate as a team the steps of neonatal resuscitation and its use of appropriate emergency medications
- Differentiate special circumstances that require a different approach of resuscitation
PALS Course
- Explain the physiological and pathophysiological response to physical compromise culminating in cardio-respiratory failure.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge and clinical competence in cardiac monitoring including arrhythmia analysis and management.
- Explain the indications for, correct dose and adverse effects of the primary resuscitation drugs.
- Demonstrate advanced clinical problem-solving skills and clinical competence in the cohesive management of life threatening situations (cardiac arrest management) in accordance with the AHA Guidelines
